We are all aware of how substances such as drugs (like marijuana, cocaine, heroin) and alcohol can influence us humans. They seem to change our character. Your experiences might be through hearsay, movies on TV or personal experiences when you have seen the impact these drugs can have on people that use them.

Maybe you have used drugs or a bit too much alcohol yourself, in ways that were not healthy for you, and probably noticed how your mood changed. This could have been from feeling sluggish to overly joyful, or, and this happens way more often, from feeling happy to becoming from feeling fine to becoming melancholic, anxious, or even aggressive.

What’s often observed is a shift in personality. We hear people say things like:
“Drugs bring out the worst in them,” or
“When he/she drinks, it’s like they become someone else.”
And it’s true—these substances tend to open the door to lower

emotional states and vibrations.

The Hidden Effects of Substance Use: Lowering Your Vibration

Alcohol—also known as "spirits" (and for a good reason!)—along

with other heavy drugs like cocaine and heroin, pulls individuals

into a low vibrational state. It’s important to understand that these

low vibrational states are where negative energies, entities, and

dark forces operate most effectively.

These forces feed off our negative emotions. That’s right—they use

our fear, anger, sadness, and despair as fuel.

So, when someone uses drugs or alcohol, they can become prey to

these negative forces. Their energy field is weakened, making it

easier for darkness to influence their thoughts, emotions, and actions.

A Real-Life Story: How Darkness Took Hold of a Family

Let us share the story of a family of four—father, mother, son, and daughter.

The son had been struggling with substance abuse for several years. This included not just using and dealing drugs, but also the emotional and behavioral changes that came with it. His aggression was especially directed at his father.

Whenever his father confronted him about his drug use or encouraged him to find a job and contribute financially, the son would explode—shouting, cursing, and often resorting to physical violence. Eventually, it became so overwhelming that the father had no choice but to leave the home. He did so for both his family's safety and his own physical and mental well-being.

When the YGP team became aware of the situation, we had a number of deep conversations with the father, who by then was desperate and unsure of what to do.

We explained that their home was heavily affected by darkness. Not only were all four family members energetically compromised, but the house itself contained two Negative Energetic Portals (NEPs)—gateways that continuously emitted dark energies and entities, affecting the entire household. The father agreed to let us help.

We sealed the NEPs, cleansed the house and surrounding property of dark energies, and performed energetic cleansing and protection for all four family members.

The Results: A Powerful Transformation

Roughly a month after the cleansing, the father moved back home. Two months later, the change was profound. In his own words:

“Before, whenever I confronted my son about his drug use or encouraged him to work, I couldn’t even finish my first sentence before he was yelling in my face, swearing, and becoming aggressive—sometimes even violent.
Now, when I talk to him, he stays quiet, listens,

and responds calmly. He doesn't attack me.

He’s present, respectful, and I feel like I can

finally reach him again.

This change is amazing.”

So, what happened?

What shifted was that this young man had been carrying real energetic darkness with him—entities that influenced his thoughts and emotions, making him act violently even against his deeper will. These negative energies were simply too powerful for him to resist on his own.

Once he was freed from these dark influences, he returned to his true self: a kind-hearted person who loves his family and wants to work through their challenges together. While there is still healing to be done, the difference is like night and day.

The Power of Energetic Cleansing

This story is just one of many examples of how darkness can work through substances like drugs and alcohol in our society. But more importantly, it shows that transformation is possible.

Understanding how negative entities and energies operate—and how to clear and protect ourselves from them—can bring immense healing to individuals, families, and communities.
